Snoqualmie Ridge Business Park Technical Glass

As a build to suit project, the client, Technical Glass Products, was able to influence the design quality of the building. The building tenant improvements are targeting LEED Gold certification.

The following is a list of the most significant green design features of the building:

  • Maximize use of outside light in the warehouse and office to reduce energy consumption and lighting requirements.
  • Heavy use of recycled and reclaimed finish materials were used to lessen demand for virgin raw materials.
  • Intelligent HVAC and electrical design was used to maximize occupant comfort and minimize energy consumption.
  • Open ceiling configuration in the main office areas reduces need for aesthetic only building materials.
  • Building uses 100% reclaimed water for all irrigation, lowering impact on the local water table and potable water supply.
  • Water closets are ultra low flow high pressure units with the lowest water consumption available in flush toilets.
  • The office portion of the building uses 20% less water than a typical office building.
